Talala Elementary welcomes our new Assistant Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. We are excited to have Mrs. Slough join our wonderful group.
Mrs. Slough will serve as the new Assistant Principal of Talala Elementary, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for student success. She spent nine years teaching literacy skills to students across various age levels, fostering a strong foundation in reading and writing that supports lifelong learning. For the past six years, she has served in both assistant principal and principal roles at the high school and elementary levels, gaining valuable leadership experience and a broad understanding of the educational journey. Mrs. Slough believes that building meaningful relationships with students is essential to helping them reach their highest potential, both academically and personally. Her goal is to ensure that every student is prepared for the next stage of their education, equipped with the skills, confidence, and motivation to thrive.
